Summer in La Plagne Montchavin – Le Chalet du Plan Bois

In summer,

the chalet continues to welcome you with its “guinguette” style restaurant where fresh plates, planks of good cold meats and/or cheeses accompany your walks around the restaurant or your games of pétanque.

Lunch on the grass

A wicker basket contains your lunch in a glass jar, and allows you to settle down in the meadows of Plan Bois for a bucolic lunch. Later in the afternoon, you can stroll through the mountains of La Plagne Montchavin.

Baskets, for 2 to 4 people, must be ordered the day before,
before 4pm, at the restaurant.

Each basket is composed of:

A salad (different each day)
A choice of: a quiche / a platter of cold meats / a cold roast…
A dessert in a ‘Le Parfait’ jar (e.g. Tiramisu, Vanilla cream, etc.)

Possibility to order a bottle of wine in addition (corkscrew provided). Basket to be collected before 12 noon on the day of the picnic. Return of the basket the same day to the restaurant. A deposit of €50 is required.
